Seeing Off a Friend

Li Bai · 740

Green mountains bar the northern sky, White water winds the eastern town. Here at this place we part for good; The lonely tumbleweed must go ten thousand miles.

Drifting clouds speak the traveler's mind; The setting sun reflects an old friend's heart. Waving hands, you go from here; Your horse whinnies again and again.
